Taze Township It is reported that a clash between the local People's Defense Force and Pyu Saw Htee took place this evening in Ywar Tharyar village (Ywama).
Seven Pyu Saw Htee were killed and several others were injured in the clashes. A Pyu Saw Htee member's house caught fire, a local said.
He added that two cars and 10 motorcycles from the Tangse police station came to the scene of the clash and stopped one of the two vehicles approaching near the bend.
"Two cars stopped and one stopped," said a local resident, who did not want to be named.
On the way back from Ywar Tharyar village to the Taze camp, the military council was hit by another landmine near Intaing village at 7 pm, and the military council troops fired artillery and small arms fire.
The demolition was carried out by the Tangse People's Comrades, and an ambulance arrived at the site of the bombing, presuming that the military council soldiers were killed, according to a statement from the Taze People's Comrades.
