Sagaing Division Two soldiers were killed and seven others were injured in a landmine attack by the Taze People's Army in Taze Township, according to the TPC.
On December 13, at 6:45 pm, a convoy of military council vehicles and five motorcycles returned from Ywar Tharyar village. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a police station. The attack left two soldiers dead, six wounded and one in a state of emergency.
